First, we pre-treat the areas and spots using our natural cleaning products. Then, we use a high-powered steam cleaning system over the entire area, the water is then injected into the carpet to allow the fibers to further loosen up dirt and remove any cleaning solution. Finally, a powerful vacuum sucks out all the debris leaving the area sterile, clean and free of residue chemicals or odor.

Drying time:

Normally between 3 - 6 hours. Drying time depends on several different of factors, such as, the type and density of your carpet, room temperature, humidity and air movement. It is very important to keep your windows open for a few hours after the carpet cleaning is completed.

To help keeping your carpets and upholstery clean between professional cleanings, we recommend you vacuum your carpets regularly with a HEPA filter (High Efficiency Particle Arrestor) equipped vacuum cleaner. Clean entrance ways and high traffic areas more often and always clean up spills immediately.

Other Carpet Cleaning Methods:

There are different types of dry carpet cleaning method. Most methods utilize powders, crystals, solvents and even shampoos loaded with chemicals. Often harmful residues are left behind resulting from a lack of rinsing. These types of systems work more on the surface, pushing the dirt deeper in the fibers allowing the mites and other bacteria to grow under the carpet.

Some other methods are simply an adaptation of hard floor spray buffing to carpets. The maintenance brochure published by the world's largest carpet manufacturer, Shaw Industries, suggests not using this method due to pile distortion and fiber damage. This method has very limited capability for soil removal and leaves much of the detergent in the pile since these machines do not provide real extraction.

As a result, rapid re-soiling often occurs. Another disadvantage is that the spinning bonnet may distort the fibers of cut pile carpet, fuzzing the pile and leaving distinct swirl marks.
